Dr. Alexander Feoktistov is a nationally recognized expert in migraine, complex headache disorders, and interventional headache medicine. He is known for treating patients who have not improved with standard approaches - while also helping those early in their journey achieve faster, more precise relief.

He serves as Medical Director of the Comprehensive Inpatient Headache Unit at Ascension Saint Joseph – Chicago, where he oversees the care of patients with severe and treatment-resistant headache conditions requiring advanced, multidisciplinary management.

Dr. Feoktistov is board-certified in Headache Medicine (UCNS) and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pain Medicine. His background uniquely bridges neurology and interventional pain medicine - allowing him to diagnose accurately and treat comprehensively.

He trained at the renowned Diamond Headache Clinic under Seymour Diamond, MD, and later completed a Pain Management fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic - two of the most respected institutions in headache and pain medicine.

From 2011 to 2020, he served as Director of Clinical Research at Diamond Headache Clinic, where he led and participated in numerous clinical trials shaping modern migraine therapy.

He has authored over 40 peer-reviewed publications, contributed to multiple book chapters, and lectures nationally and internationally on advanced headache treatment strategies.
